Join us and work with cutting-edge FPGA technology, a skilled international team, and some of the most interesting global customers in the industry.

We are now seeking a hands-on Senior FPGA Engineer to join our R&D team in Espoo. You will develop and maintain FPGA-based systems at the core of our advanced test equipment. Working closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams, your designs will directly shape the performance and capabilities of Unigraf products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate new FPGA components and systems
• Add features to third-party IPs
• Integrate RTL components into multiple FPGA platforms
• Debug, maintain, and optimize existing FPGA designs
• Conduct design, simulation, synthesis, and hardware testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical documentation

The RTL coding languages of choice at Unigraf are Verilog and SystemVerilog.

What We’re Looking For

You have a strong foundation in FPGA design and are confident taking designs from concept to fully tested hardware. You are self-motivated, disciplined, and collaborative, with good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in FPGA design (Verilog/VHDL)
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture, Timing Closure, and Clock and Reset Domain Crossing principles
• Skilled in Altera Quartus or Xilinx Vivado
• Experience with interfaces such as DDR3/4, I2C, SPI, RS232
• Testbench development experience (Modelsim/Questa) and debugging tools

Would Be a Plus:

• C/C++ and scripting (bash, TCL, Python)
• Experience with DisplayPort, HDMI, PCIe, USB, high-speed FPGA transceiver
